WINDOWS START UP LOCKS UP OR DOES NOT OPEN

I have a HP G60 120 US Notebook. When I click the power buttton to start it up it does power up how ever the start up of windows does not.Eventually after several tries the repair window will open and of course I click repair, But it doesnt repair as the issue now occurs on every power up and initiation of start up for windows. I actually performed an earlier recovery point to see if any auto updates may have affected it and the issue eis still occuring hope there is some help out their please respond asap and thanks hp fans,
