Why can't i find any information about my pc?

Hi. I have some problems with my comptuer. I replaced the old HDD with a new bigger one, and ofcourse I reinstalled Windows 7 Proffesional 32-bit. Almost everything is worked except one thing, the network connection. I have tried to connect to my network by a ethernet cabel, as I used to do before the HDD replacement, but it didn't work. So I think that i need new drivers for the NIC, since I've got a new HDD. But when I try to search for my PC on HP's website, it can't be found. My computer is a Compaq Prevario CQ5203SC. Can someone help me with my problem? If nothing works I will simply buy a new wireless NIC, but I think it's unnecessary because the original NIC has worked before.

Hi:

Your PC probably can come with more than one wireless card.

I can send you the link to the drivers you need if you click on the network controller needing drivers in the device manager.

Then click on the details tab.

In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Those will ID the model wireless card you have and I will send you the link to the drivers you need.

Also if you post your product number (found on the same sticker as your serial number), I will see if I can find the model number and support and driver page for you.
