I Have a HP Pavilion Elite m9160f. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit from the Vista Home Premium 64-bit that came installed on the PC. I need drivers to support the HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse set that came as part of the m9160f. The keyboard is HP P/N 5188-6816; the mouse is HP P/N 5188-6926. The Windows 7 supplied drivers for the keyboard and mouse do not warn when new batteries are required for the devices and do not support some of the keyboard functionality such as the ability to use the keyboard key to eject a DVD

Hi VernKelly,
I couldn't find the driver for your specific model of PC, but you might try this driver (for a newer Elite series PC) to see if it works for your keyboard in Win 7:
Let us know how it goes.

I followed your directions which resulted in a download and and attempted install of sp44447.exe. The following error screeen came up several times in sucession.
regsvr32.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry Point DwmHintDxUpdate could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll
The update process ended by requesting me to reboot. After the reboot my Keyboard key to eject the DVD did not work.
I checked the Keyboard and mouse drivers after the attempted update and they are all Microsoft drivers with file version 6.1.7600.16385.
Note: my Windows 7 Register Server regsvr32.exe is also file version 6.1.7600.16385, date created 7/13/2009 8:14 PM

I don't know if you ever solved the problem, but I did. I followed the link and ran the program as administrator. I took a while but it did install and give me back the keyboard functionally I once had. Hope this helps you.
