Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s5710fOC and have misplaced the install software from my HP Photosmart M417 camera.  I can't find the software to up-load my photos from my camera.  Software does not seem to be supported anymore.

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

I just purchased a HP Pav and cannot use Image Zone software  I am very very very disapointed about this. I own many HP products  and would like to continue to use HP so they need to fix this.

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Add me to those VERY unhappy users of HP Image Zone that won't install on my new Win 7. Unbelievable!

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Yes, I am beginning to use this "new" Photo Creations but its just not the same as Image Zone.

It was so must easier and quick. I used it to make simple calendars.  I did not like the software before this Photo Creations and kept  Image Zone on my older computer so that I could use it.

Maybe next update they will look at including the old and the new features. I hope so.

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Hi folks, I started this thread coming up on two years ago and one thing is apparent.  HP does not care.  Those of us who have posted here requesting help in restoring a product we like and prefer over other products are being ignored.  I would still like to see Image Zone made compatible with Win7 but I have no hope it will ever happen.  So join with me and take a vow that the next computer I purchase will NOT be a Hewlitt Packard.  I will be happy to buy Dell, Sony, Apple, or any other brand in the future, but I am certain this will be my final HP machine.  If any of you find a solution please post it here.

Regards,

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Just bought a new HP Pavillion with a HP 4-1 printer and found this forum looking for an answer. No Image Zone for Windows 7. I am so disappointed. I too scanned multiple photos at the same time, cropped and save as individual ones ( scanning old documents and pictures for my family tree).  I guess it's a matter of getting used to another program. HP's substitute - Photo Smart Essentials is for scrapbookers. I am experimenting with Microsoft 2010 Office Picture Manager.  YogiOz - what are you using as a photo editor now?

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

If anyone knows of good photo software that will be compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium HP AMD Quad Core

I need calendars that are quick and simple like the "old" Image Zone. I will be looking into software until I find what will work for me. Thanks

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

I don't use the software, but my wife does.  She uses Picasa now, it is a free downloadable, you can google it.  It's not as good as Image Zone but she is able to do most of the things she wants with it.  Good luck.

Re: Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Ok...let me get this straight.  I got a PROFESSIONAL PRINTER, so that I could edit and make my own sized photos. As a scrapbooker, I save time, ink and money by making my OWN sized photos.  The original printer cost over 500.00.  Now my PROFESSIONAL SOFTWARE, to go with this printer no longer works on my new HP laptop. I spend on average 100.00 on ink when I have to replace it.  So, on the average I spend about 600.00 a year on ink alone.  Why would HP NOT want to keep customers happy.  Why would you NOT support what you have previously used in the past.  The software is versatile and easy to use.  PhotoCrapator SUCKS...you cannot do what you want.  I DO NOT DO DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING!  I just want some easy and versatile sizes for my prints for scrapbooking.  Now I must ask after all the time and money I have put into HP products....  Why would I ever buy another HP product?
