Windows 7 and HP Image Zone software

Greetings,

I upgraded my PC to WIn7 and found that the ImageZone installation CD refuses to run. This is a disaster!

I have been using ImageZone as my editor and printer of first choice.

How HP expected Photo Essentials to replace the original ImageZone, I am absolutely flabergasted!

 Photo Essentials is probably what I would give my 10yr old to play on - it is so childish and simple in its photo editing abilities that really HP cannot be serious about it.

Come on HP - time to be professional, please?

I'm in the same boat as other posters - Bought my wife a new Windows 7 computer for Christmas and NOTHING but ImageZone is going to make her happy so now I'm not happy. I've had more than one similar problems with HP and Windows 2003 server printer drivers in the past. They just seem to disregard the concept of their existing customers ever upgrading anything to an OS that's less than 5 years old so...

Dear HP:

You make great hardware but, due to your terrible support for existing customers I will never buy another HP product.

I'm sure Epson, Lenovo, Dell, etc... couldn't do a worse job of keeping up with the #1 selling OS in the world so chances are they'll do better.

Has anyone tried running this in XP Mode on Windows 7?   I would imagine that would work, but haven't read that anyone has tried that so far.

dear HP please fix the problem i just got a new loptop with windows7 as my op sys

and I have told everyone always about how great hp image zone is I can not belive it.

Have I known I would buy a different loptop but now im stuck, please help to solve the issue

HP Image Zone isn't compatible with Win 7???  With no suggestion that someone is working on it???   I think that the appropriate descriptive word is "stupid."   HP has always been resourceful and reliable, until now, except for their price-fixed ink cartridges.  I think maybe it's time to begin looking for another source of compatible printers, scanners and software.  I am greatly disappointed with HP.

We are an HP family. Never bought anything but HP. My HP Photosmart 3210 is so awesome to print out flyers, pictures, etcetera using HP IMAGE ZONE .  We recently needed to buy a new computer - Although I am having issues regarding Windows7, I am getting over them - except for the fact there is no IMAGE ZONE compatibility.  This new computer doesn't have the word processing program that I like either.  We would brag up HP to every one when talking about computers.  My printer produces professional looking photos, using IMAGE ZONE, but no more.  I feel like the "dirt and mud" ladies who cling to the swifter;  I am clinging to IMAGE ZONE.  Any advice to give me for addiction rehab from the loss of IMAGE ZONE?

hi all, i have a big problem, i have the Hp pcs 1200 ( multifuntional ).

i changed my OS, from windows xp to windows 7 64 bits.

now i cant use my Hp Director to scann, i tryed to find in google, yahoo and other ones searchers but i dont found nothing.

Can anyone help me please??

I am very dissapointed that HP Image Zone is not supported in Windows7.  I have 4 HP computers, 3 HP printers, and 2 HP scanners.  Image Zone was so easy to work with, and had so many usable features.  Please fix this problem - I don't really want to buy all new printers and scanners to do my photo work (or keep transferring work between my old XP machines and the new Win7 machine.

I have a HP Model p6674y  64 Bit computer and HP 6210xi All in one .

I like the scanning software in HP Image Zone. Is there way to get that

same program or a comparable program?/
