Just an update, you don't want the install disk to autorun.  You want to navigate to the disk and locate the setup.exe file so that you can right click on it to troubleshoot compatibility, then select the recommended solution, which is XP mode. 

Use Windows Explorer or start, computer to view the files on the disk.

Thanks for this help.  The software installed once I told Win 7 to use XP mode, but when I try to scan a document, it says "No scan options" on the printer itself.  I have ImageZone on my computer screen and am looking at scans I made previously, but it won't let me scan anything new.  Ideas?

Can I buy an HP Image Zone disc from someone who has one but can't use it because it doesn't work on their Windows 7. My CPU went down and I'm going to buy another CPU with Windows XP just so I can keep Image Zone. I can't find a disc to buy anywhere that is the same as the kind I had on my computer and I have to have that program. Thank you!

I do have an original CD (for HP printer 1507) that contains Image Zone Express software in it.  Currently, I use this photo editing software with my HP computer, and it works just fine with my Windows 7 system.  If you are interseted in buying this, you may reply with an email for further communication.

Sorry but I don't think HP Image Zone express is the same thing as HP Image Zone Plus 4.3 is it? Thanks.

I am not sure if they are the same or different products. If you know they are different, I apologize for the confusion. The CD that I have contains "HP Image Zone" software, without word "Plus".

tengon un scaner scanjet 4070 photosmart  pero no puedo scanear negativos ni fotos desde la tapa  y no tengo el disco de instalcion. alguien puede decirme como puedo hacer que funcione.. Gracias
