I have a new HP computer with Windows Vista. Windows Update is getting an error when trying to install updates to .Net Framework. The error code is 80070663.
What is .Net Framework and how can this be fixed?

Hi CMurdock,
.Net Framework is the underlying code architecture that Microsoft uses for it's software. When I google your error code, it looks like it is associated with updates for MS Office 2007 (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=error+code+80
You can look through those results for a way to fix it, but you might first try looking in your Add/Remove programs (available through the Control Panel) to see if the .Net update is installed. If so, you can remove it and then try downloading and installing the update again.
Let us know how it goes.
