Windows corrupted on Compaq Presario S5000NX

I need help with my Compaq Presario S5000NX PC. It is running Windows XP Home Edition SP2. I set it up again after being unused for a very long time and I used the Compaq system recovery with the F10 key to remove programs to help speed up my system. After it finshed it restarted and it displayed this screen. I used the thing again bt it did nothing. I remember that the computer came with a restore disk but I dont know where it is. What should I do to fix my PC?

A good place to start is resetting BIOS defaults. Enter BIOS by tapping away at the F1 key at power on. Once into BIOS setup tap the F5 key to reset defaults, then F10 to Save & Exit.

 

Be sure to only have keyboard,monitor and mouse connected during Recovery.
