This is driving me insane. I purchased a 8GB High Capacity SD card for my camera. Have pictures on it an can't download them or do anything.
The computer won't recognize it
How can HP sell a computer in 2007 that does NOT support high capacity flash memory. All the Vista hot fixes won;t do anything. I spend money on a card that won't work. People say update the drivers. I did. Doesn't do anything. I think this is a hardware problem. I don;t want to go out now nad look for a card reader to buy, when my computer has the meadia slots built into it. Please help. Thanks
Windows Vista (32)

So the specs say it support SDHC, it''s on Windows 7 which says it needs to be formatted, but give the error message that it cannot.
Conventional triage would say it's a software, not hardware problem
