It more than likely was put in a different place because of the web browser setting. Try it again and pay attention to the directory setting in the browser for downloads. What browser are you using? IE asks for the destination, Firefox is preset in the "Tools"

Hi,
you might need to check it on the downloads folder
try to go to computer, double click on Drive : C, then click on Users, then click on your User account name that you're using, then click on the downloads folder,,
if you're using Windows 7 or Vista, you can just try to look at it through the search tab when you clcik the start menu![]()

I didn't understand what you meant. To be honest I'm not a computer person
I use big pond. I tried to download the songs again and i realised that they are in MP3 format and the other thing is that as i download the songs they are actually playing. I didn't have this problem with my other computer.
do you think they were downloaded somewhere else?
thanks

What software are you using that is supposedly saving this mp3 file? BigPond? I have heard of that but I do not know what it is. Assume you are from the land down under?
Anyways, if the file is being saved, it has to be somewhere. Try using the search function on the computer to see the name.

I tried searching for the mp3 filesbut was unsuccessful. i will try to download music from another website and see if its going to work. I'm thinking that there might be a problem with thw website I using right now.

In a previous post you said "as i download the songs they are actually playing". There is a possibility that the song is not being downloaded but it is just playing. I suppose the best way to find out is to post a link for the page and let me look to see what it is doing.

Hello mayjd, After you go to the website and click on the song(s), click on the word download and a small window will open that gives you the option to Open, Save, Close. Click on Save and another Window will open that shows the song name in the lower box and look in the box at the top of the window.
There will be a default location in this box. If you want to save these files to another location, look at the left side of the window and you can navigate to any location. Either write this location down, so you can locate the songs later or just remember where the songs are saved.
Please click the White Kudos star on the left, to say thanks.
Please mark Accept As Solution if it solves your problem.
