I bought a iXtreme X6618UK Desktop from PCWORLD on 29th august 2009 and was told that I could upgrade to windows 7 after Oct 22. When I tried this two days ago I was not able to. it looks like the model was not on the list. I bought this computer because I could upgrade to win 7. I have been back to PCWORLD and they insist that I am eleigible and they have not been told otherwise. I have vista home premium and that is all they have been told I need. How then can I get the free upgrade to windows premium. The advisor does not run on 64 bit machines. Can anyone help. Alan

hi! the product that you are asking about is not a hewlett-packard nor compaq product. please refer to the manufacture for support.
Thanks!
(i may represent HP but this advice is solely my own)

Sorry you are right it is a Pakard-Bell not HP. First time I descovered there was a difference.
