Dear HP ,
Ur customer support or shall i say service centre support sucks , atleat in delhi (India). DELL is far better than you guys in terms of product, & specially after sales service. I purchased a lappy,& a pc from Dell , neva faced a problem & even when i did, they were always present to help.
But, this is an altogether new experience i m facing with HP, bought an HP 6040 in PC , a year ago, & at the max would have operated on it 10 times in that span, still getting a blue dump error screen. Ur service centre people have stopped picking up my calls, its over a month, i cant explain to same problem again & again 2 ur toll free call centre guys, which they expect me to. 5 times ur enggs have visited, motherboard change, ram changed, recovery done thrice but they still seem to have no idea about the problem. forgot to mention , a month back my defective screen was replaced by HP after 10 days of persistant calls & queries, but this time there is'nt ny end.
Y the **bleep** dont u guys gime a replacement fr the CPU, if the problem is out of your gamut of knowledge. I am helpless for the last 1 month, no 1s picking up my call , not even ur enggs head (so called MR. GIRISH)...... what am i supposed to conclude...?
HP SUCKS TO THE CORE,,,,, i know i should not use vulgar words, but u guys deserve it , that 2 on ur forum, for i need to vent it out atleast on sum1.

Well HP is no better or worse than other computer manufacturers,
as they all desert you after the 1st year. After that is you pay for
each request for help!
The only free help after the twelve months has expired, is this very
good HP Support run by experienced volunteers, and I have found
out for sometime now, help is available, just ask by typing in your
call for help and someone will answer. I always thank these
kind people for their help.

Omg ! I seriously feel like committing a sucide, even now your pathetic department wants 3 more days & more enggs to replace other parts, where they have already done recovery 8 times, changed motherboard, changed RAM, Changed eve n hardisk. God- **bleep** it!, Is there anything still left for them to replace, but that is the way HP goes i guess.
I am dying with these services of HP, every bit, they so they do not give unit replacement.

I want to see , how you guys can help me with a situation, where i am bothered enough & seriously considering a sucide attempt, after such bad services.Even your higher executives after the escalation of the complaint doesnt seem to be bothered, & except their speaking skills, they lack in all feasible, technical, & urgent solutions. I guess i will have 2 kids when this problem will be solved.
Thanks, Pathetic HP, a LOT!

I agree, after my first year with my Presario CQ5115uk computer,
strange omens has been happening on a regular basis, files
have disappeared, others just appear and worst of all, files no
longer work properly.
I no longer automatically install software updates or upgrades.
Only last week, a software provider informed me that an upgrade
was available, fortunately I checked their Web site for any upgrades
in turn Web site said my version installed was the most update.
I no longer, or should I say not permit HP to check over my computer
on line.

Absolutely how we feel.
We contacted them with a BIO-HD 8 error. They said it was a hard drive. Even though reading their forums others have had the same problem but it was the motherboard. So, they shipped us a new hard drive full well knowing that it wouldnt work as they 'tattoo' their systems to their configuration. Now we have to send the ENTIRE computer back to HP and wait TWO WEEKS?!?!
I run my own business. How do they expect anyone buying their computers to hold their lives up for two weeks to fix their faulty #$@Q#$?
Of course no resolution or attempts to even send out a 'loaner' machine so we can conduct our business. We basically received a "sorry for your luck, you're @#$@Q#, we will send a box for you to send your computer back."
I will no longer be buying any HP products. I should have bought a DELL anyway.
