I performed a clean install (custom) Windows 7 Home Premium and added 1gig of memory on my Pavilion s7600n running an Athlon 64x2, from WinXPSP3 Media Center. How can I access my original preload from either my backup recovery discs or my Recovery Partition of my drive. There are some applications that I need to reinstall. The clean install went very well... no major problems.

Fonejac, welcome to the forum.
The problem with doing a clean install of the OS is that you can't install any of the Valu-Added software that came with the computer. It is only available as a package with a System Recovery. There is no way to install them separately.

Problem solved..
. my Pavilion s7600n has a recovery partition, I used the Windows 7 Search function to find the .msi file for the application I needed... after locating the correct .msi I merely opened the file and it installed the program. Of course the program must be Win 7 compatible.
