I'm using Windows 7 on an HP Pavilion P6000 Series. I belive the Windows Recovery manager created System Recovery Files folder on the C: drive (from .wim files created originally on an external drive), and I want to move them to the original location. Do I just copy or move all to the C: drive, or is there an executable program that does that?

The backup used in Recovery only restores the files to a folder, leaving the owner to move them.I agree, not the most helpful backup app but better than nothing I suppose.
