My system is a PC desktop HP Pavilion PC a6000, Windows Vista 32-bit. At first a blue screen appears, did a reboot, seems to work fine. Then sometimes it freezes up or gets very slow in respond to commands, every now and then blue screen. There had been no upgrade or any changes to the system before these symptoms occur, I also have Norton 360 installed

Blue Screens (BSOD) are usually caused by RAMs. Try to unplug then replug the RAM stick on your notebook for a first step. ![]()

Thanks Keurten 1 for the advised. I have tried that, and my PC is a Desktop not Laptop. The thing is I have done a system recovery, with the HD reformat, restore system back to manufacture standard. HP manager when through the whole procedure installing Windows and everything, lastly when it does a reboot to start the Window Vista for the first time then it gave me the message "SYSTEM CONFIGURATION ERROR" "CODE PURPLE".
Does anyone knows what that means??? and then it shuts down.
