microsoft office 2010 activation failed

A bit more info would be helpful in attempting to sort the issue.Did you just recently install Office and it won't activate, or it has been installed and working for awhile before you started getting an error?

We bought the desktop last year and was told that it was good to go. It seems that the application still need to be activated, something we failed to do. It was just last week that we tried to do it but unable to succeed.

It was already installed when we bought the desktop but it seems that we failed to activate it. We tried to do it and was given 3 options:

Mak - which seems the easiest but Product key is not accepted. I'm not sure if this data actually expired?

Through internet or by phone - haven't tried yet

KMS - haven't tried

sorry but I think you bought a computer with a bogus Office or a trial version.

MAK - keys do not expire. If seller gave you a key then it was incorrect/fraudulent.

hi...i had troubles activating office 2007. i had the key and when i put it in...well nothing useful happened. so i just waited til the activation period came up and then microsoft asked me to activate and i put in the same key and it activated...so if your copy is still working i'd wait until they ask you to activate...

You can launch Office 50 times before you have to activate.
