please reinstall extender player

I keep getting an error message that says invalid or missing resource files in installation directory please reinstall extender player. have discovered that this is not needed how do i solve this problem have tried system restore but has not worked

a. click start then click run or in the search box type "msconfig"

b. click the startup tab at the top.

c. uncheck the box for "GPlayer" or "EXTender"

Extender Player is usually installed by online games,and not a part of Windows;
