I need to perform a system recovery... and I was about to use Recovery Manager but I'm not sure if it would affect my partitions created on the computer... is there anyway to recover just the C drive using the recovery manager? (ie- without touching the new partitions like E, F drives)

In my experiences Recovery does wipe out new partitions, but I have seen posts where owners say it didn't. I prefer to be safe and use an external usb hdd to backup my data.
