upgrading from Vista Ultimate

I bought this computer last fall and got a free upgrade to Windows XP professional, after I bought the machine.  I have not yet done the upgrade, mainly because I am wondering if I would be better off to just get the Clean Install Windows 7 Professional instead of doing the upgrade.

 

Appreciate any expert advice

I use all three MS operating systems and I like parts of each of them.  My everyday system is W7 Home Premium.   Why do you want the Pro version of W7?

 

What model PC and you using?

 

Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

 

A clean install is always better than an in place install.  However, none of the HP value added software will be available.
