Sometimes my 1 month old HP p7-1225, windows 7 64 bit shuts down by itself and am wondering if it is getting hot and fan is not working or what. I have scanned for viruses and malware and none found. Even used Advanced Systemcare with license to dig deep and repair. This has occurred 3 time since I have owned this computer. Do I need to update my bios? Did I get a lemon? Please advise.

if it does turn immediately back on, then it's most likely a problem with your power supply unit or maybe even your motherboard

It appears that my computer has not shut down anymore. I changed when my computer sleeps to never. I was also helped by the HP support analyst and went through a lot of troubleshooting and did not find anything wrong. The analyst also told me to change my computer sleep mode to never which was already accomplishted. So far, so good. Computer is ok, now. Thanks for the support.
