xp installation on dv4 1120us

Hi, I want to install xp on my dv4 1120us. but during the installtion it gives me a blue screen just before the step "loading windows". I have checked in some forum that I need to integrate SATA drivers to my xp installation disk by nlite. I have tried to integrate the driver sp37005.exe the Intel SATA AHCI Controller Driver. But I am getting the same error. Please help me.

I would really not install XP but as you are already through with it your only hope is to get it from Intel or from a third party website like www.drivers.com any you may have to pay some money there not to mention all the junk that could be there.

 

As a personal suggestion Vista SP1 is really good now. You just disable UAC and everything is good. Also disable the aero feature and will make ur system faster.
