Go to Explorer
If you have 32 bit Windows 7, Rename, move or delete the following file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Quick Launch\beats32.exe
If you have 64 bit Windows 7, Rename, move or delete the following file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\HP Quick Launch\x64\Beats64.exe
This will disable the beats Audio Hotkey.

FYI, after upgrading to Win8 and a subsequent HP update, the problem returned. The files are now in different places, but searching the C: drive for beats*.exe flushed them out so I could rename them (again).

I have 64 bit windows 7 and i'm unable to find the beats64.exe file
It stops at C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard... can't seem to find hp Quick Launch anywhere.
I need to disable those useless hot keys to work properly in Cubase
