HP Slimline s7220n pavilion

Well recently my hp laptop crashed on me, and i happen to be a gamer, all i had was an HP Pavilion s7220n Slimline, well I play world of warcraft and it actually runs alright, until i hit the newer content, then the fps goes down to like 5, but i was wondering, i tryed to look at it but everything is so packed into this PC that i could not see a way, but is there a way to upgrade the video card in my PC?

Your graphics should be integrated Intel 915G on the motherboard. You can replace the PCI modem with a low-profile PCI (not PCI-E) graphics card.

There are many low profile card out there but most of the cards extend past the end of the slot and will not fit because of the CD drive and hard drive getting in the way.

There are some out there though...

The other thing you want to be extra careful of is heat. Adding a video card as going to generate more heat. You must find a way to get rid of the heat - not just for the video card, but for the other components inside the case as well. Take extra care to rout cables inside against walls to increase airflow. I've even heard of folks who put louvers on the side panel and upgrade fans.

HP has this on how to open the case... This'll give you an idea of where the card sits.

If you do this, you can go into the BIOS and disable on-board video or set it to auto once the PCI card is installed.
