I have noticed that the 3 keys that operate mute, increase and decrease sound have ceased working.A new keyboard has made no difference, with the problem still remaining.Could i have done something inadvertantly that has caused this problem. All other functions on the keyboard appear normal.thanks

Hi aybsee,
This is likely a keyboard driver/software issue. Sometimes things like Windows Updates can knock out the driver and you just need to reinstall it. What PC model do you have and are you using Vista or XP?
We can link you to the keyboard driver if we know which one you need.
If you are in Vista, this HP Support document on troubleshooting keyboard issues should help you fix it.
Let us know how it goes.
