I have an HP computer up until a couple week ago I had sound. Now can only get sound with the earphones plugged into the tower.Have run the recovery disc that is showing that everything is fine .

Can you help

Hi, Carol:

 

I recommend downloading the lastest Realtek audio driver for your PC. You didn't let us know what operating system you are running so just accept the agreement, download and install the latest driver for your operating system.
