How do I connect my altec lansing ada995 speakers to my HP Pavilion h8-1145 computer, I have three wires on the speakers (Black Green & Yellow). I only have one output on the computer. The sound card is a Realtek HD Audio.

Ran into this bit of confusion myself.  Have and HP Slimline. The manual was not much help. Here's what I've done.  The yellow wire is your subwoofer/center speaker and plugs into the Mic plug (pink on my HP).  The green is your front left and right speakers and plug into the Out (green on my HP). The Black is the rear left and right and plug into the In (blue on my HP).  Hope this helps.
