I recently changed from Xp to Windows 7 and now my sound does not work at all.
I get a message in the sound icon that: No audio output devise is installed.
In my device manager no sund is either installed so I cant update the driver for that sound, I have tried to install the realtek drivers both for windows vista and windoes 7 with no luck.
My question:
Is it possible to get the sound to work on dc5700 microtower with Windows 7 or shall i just leave this error and get a new computer?
Best regard Jocke

I tried this and it worked. Use the Xp drivers to update the windows 7 software.
Follow these steps:
1. go to device manger
2. Right click on high definition auidio
3. select update driver software
4. select browse my computer (option 2)
5. Browse for the folder that contains the xp audio drivers for dc 5700
6. click next
7. Bravoooooooo
