No stereo at line in [ Edited ]

Hi Depljc. You are not alone with that same problem. I am working on this for the last few days and I couldn't find direct solution anywhere. Has there been any updates in the mean time.

I also have the same sound card REALTEK HD and on rear Line in it is only picking the left channel, right channel is deaf. I tried all the experiments as you and definetly there is no the problem in cord and the usual suspects.

This is how I have been able to permanently solve my problem. When I connect it to the FRONT LINE IN, then it works great. But REAR LINE IN simply picks up only the left one.

After searching many forums, I noticed that this problem is present very often so I am starting to suspect that there is some kind of problem within the product itself.

Anyway I am inserting this post to help anyone else who will stumble at this thread. If anyone will find out what is the possible problem please post it on this thread.

I am officially finished with this problem, since my MB died last August.  I bought myself a Dell XPS 8300, and I love it.  Too bad; there were many things I liked about the HP model I had, but my new computer is fast and awesome !!!!!
