Sound Not working.

I was in the middle of watching a internet video and the sound cut off. The sound will work through headphones only!

I do apologize you are having this issue. Are your speakers external or built into your monitor?

Without more information on hardware setup (where things are plugged in, etc.), I would first recommend that you run this troubleshooter:

If a Windows setting is the culprit, this troubleshooter is very good at identifying and automatically correcting it.  The troubleshooter can also identify some hardware problems.

THANK YOU!!! I was to the point that I was considering shooting the computer! The link solved it all. Somehow the internal speakers were disabled.

Seems like something wrong with  your speaker. Check your speaker on another computer to ensure that it is working fine or not. If it is not working, problem with your speaker and need to repair.

Change your default setting for speaker only.
