USB SPEAKER...

I had Bose speaker with usb conetion and I CAN NOT record any sound  my sound card doesn't recognize any sound What can I do??? can someone help me with this please....

Hi miguel4000,

 

The computer doesn't record sound coming from your speakers, unless you hook up a mic to your pc and then open a sound recording program, and then put the mic by the speaker. However, you shouldn't even have to do that. If you are just looking to record some sound/music that is being played on your PC, you will need to use a sound recording program. Depending on what type of audio you are trying to record, some programs will work and others won't.

 

If you are trying to record something that is not digital content protected (say a basic WAV file or a computer sound), you can use the Windows Sound Recorder (found under All programs> Accessories> Entertainment.

 

If you are looking to record a streaming music file or some other protected audio source, you will need to find another software application to record it. SoundForge is one option....if you search the internet for something like "free audio recording software" or something similar, you will probably find a bunch of freeware or shareware options.
