If you get the error "no Mixers...", Windows Audio Service may have become disabled or stopped.
- Click Start , Run , and enter services.msc into the Open field.A services window opens.
- Scroll down the list of services and find Windows Audio.
- Right-click Windows Audio and select Properties .Select Automatic from the Startup type dropdown list, and click Start to start the audio service.
- Click OK and test for sound.

Hi Raster Balster,
I followed youy steps but was stuck because in step 3, the start button was greyed out so i could not click it, my computer still says that there is no mixer.
