BIOHD1 Error code

I have an HP P6631P with an AMD Athlon IIx4 635 processor 64bit Operating System running Windows 7 home premium, I have had the computer for 11 months everything was great until yesterday. I pushed the power button and Windows tried to start but froze......I used the repair disk to reboot the computer and after several hrs it brought up the system recovery screen, still wont work keeps taking me to an hp help screen where I can do nothing but exit. I ran a diagnotic and it gave me the BIOHD 1 error code, so my question is....Now what? What do I do now?

Re: BIOHD1 Error code

Hi,

It would look like your Hard Drive has failed and will need to be replaced.

As your PC is still under warranty, you should contact HP and arrange to have the drive replaced.

If you live in the US, contact HP Here.

If you are in another part of the world, start Here.

Regards,

DP-K
