What kind of recovery was run?
F11 - takes about 20 minutes
User Created Recovery Disc - about an hour
Support Sent Recovery Disc - up to 3 hours
Errors in Recovery regardless of model are caused by a couple of things.
1. There is something plugged in to the PC besides Keyboard Mouse and Monitor.
2. Users don't let the recovery finish - especially with Disc based recovery which takes a little longer
Recovery app is very stable and works very well, I would run the recovery again and make sure everything is unplugged - especially the network cable. And don't touch it until it is finished.
good luck
bill
