HP Officejet J4680 - Scanning will not function. [ Edited ]

After down loading HP Solution Center and sucessful installation of same, SCAN function does not work. I find that either the Imaging Imaging Idexing S/W was not installed or does not or will not startup and thus I suspect the failuar of the SCAN function.

Also note that I reseive a "Hidden Extended Error Information" which looks like the following:

    -   4,[(2,0,80040154),(0,0,0),(3,56,0)]
