I paid 700$ for this computer. And I can see there's a lot of people that have the same problem. And its funny how my comp craps out after the warranty. No I don't feel like getting it repaired I shouldent have too! This is the last hp product I'm buying. Btw I'm on my phone because you make computers that don't turn on.
Hello taralala, Can you advise the Model number of your HP system and the version of your operating system?

Hello taralala, I understand your frustration. I checked the model number you provided and it seems your system is the
HP Pavilion All-in-One MS225 Desktop.
Many times when a system will not boot at all, there are several reasons that could cause this.
The power supply and the motherboard are two of the most common issues with these systems. The hard drives also seem to fail, but that would not prevent the system from trying to boot. It just would not load the operating system.
I'm afraid there is not much that can be done without taking the system to a qualified repair shop.

Hello taralala, I was trying to suggest a solution based on the information your provided in your original post.
Quote: Now it randomly shuts off. Doesn't turn on.
If a system Doesn't turn on, the likely issues would be a failed power supply or motherboard. There are some other reasons a system would not power on as well.

Life span of laptops varies on a lot of reasons. I would say reload your OS. If it is still the same, then thats a hardware issue. ![]()

Hello flogger12345, You are correct about Laptop failures. It has been my experience, which is limited with Laptops, that they only last about 3-4 years normally.
I do have a Laptop that is still working just fine and it is over ten years old. You might imagine how slow it is....![]()
The system in question is a HP Pavilion All-in-One MS225 Desktop, and not a Laptop, but your suggestion would apply to these types of systems as well.
