Planning of getting HP Pavilion p6792uk but how can I order the CD at the same time of buying the PC

I am in the UK and can't can't find a way to order the recovery CD.

Support for this model seems to be hard to find. You can just burn the recovery discs when you receive your computer. If you want HP to supply recovery discs, your best bet is to call them.

Does HP provide the Windows DVD as well as the CD for any additional software like PowerDVD?  I bought my laptop from Dell and they provided me with the CDs for the drivers, Dell Webcam Central, PowerDVD, and the Windows 7 DVD.  Does HP do the same upon request?  Also, should I request before or after the purchase?

Laptops and Desktops are different animals for HP but the last time I got any CD's or DVD's was with a HP laptop in 2004... it came with a WinXP SP2 OS CD and an App & Driver DVD. Since that time, I have purchased two Compaq sr1320nx, a Compaq sr1910nx, a HP a1632x, two HP dv9617nr (laptops), a HP p6130y, a HP p6320y, a HP p6787c, two Gateway NV77h05u (laptops), and a HP p7-1026. None of them came with CD's or DVD's for any purpose. They all have required the use of a built-in "recovery disc creator" program to make the recovery disc set.

The only thing you will get from HP is a semi-generic recovery set with a supplemental disc. They will not provide a seperate OS disc, applications disc, etc.

LOL... yes, even if you pay more they will not send a real Windows disc... you will only a recovery disc set and maybe a supplemental disc.

Is the DVD to install Windows 7 the Windows 7 DVD?  I have a green CD from Dell with Dell labeling but it says Windows 7 installation DVD. That's what I mean.

No, the DVD's are a set of 3, 4, or 5 discs that are more or less an image of the recovery partition. And the supplemental disc is just that, a disc of other non-OS stuff.
