Recovery does not work

Hello!

I need to run the complete recovery but it does not work, complaisn about something technical. I have tried from the recovery-partition using systemrecovery and from the discs I've made. Nothing works.

I got this errorcode when running systemrecover from Win7 : 0xe0ef002f

Try the recover partition. Tap F9 on boot up. There should be a wizard that will guid you through on doing this.

Re: Recovery does not work

Hmm, Try this:

Reboot and press F8 again and again and you'll get a menu of options; choose:

Safemode With Networking

In Safemode, click your start button, and type into the Search Box:

System Restore but right click on it and choose to Run As Administrator.

Go ahead and run it-and you might be suprised when it works!

Let me know if it does, or if it's time to escalate.

Re: Recovery does not work

If you have you disc. Did you change in Bios to have  boot from the disc first ? I just done a system recovery, setting by laptop back to it's factory default. Please bear in mind, back up all your important data before proceed. Factory default will wipe your computer clean, and deleted any partitions that your created. It simply means that the computer will be exactly the day you bough your computer. During the procees it give you the option to back up your data, but i think from my last experience, only certain files that HP consider as document is save, not all files or settings. I would recommend a full system backup.
