updating recovery drive

I have updated from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium.

Is there a way to update (or change) the partioned drive (D) that had the original HP Vista restore information on it to the new Windows setup?

Hello Dai-uy, There is no way to update the D: HP Restore Recovery partition to Windows 7.

You can use a hard drive image program and make a hard drive image of the Windows 7 installed on the hard drive now. You would need an external hard drive or a second internal hard drive to save the current hard drive image on.
