HP Advisor shows PC Alert-critical. When I click on the HP Update Software Utility to update, I get a pop-up. "Batch Update Confirmation", and showing a red exclamation beside 'error handling messages" and "HP Update Software Utility". and "error occured while handling a message". I have reinstalled HP Update Software Utility and it still won't update. I am at a loss on how to correct this. Am using Vista. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Camretiree, welcome to the forum.
HP Update software seems to have many problems. I always suggest bypassing it and using Windows Update.
