MEDIA CENTER COMP WILL NOT TURN ON

My computer all of the sudden will not turn on.  I have unplugged and plugged everything back in.  I did notice a green blinking light in the back (powerLED), and have never seen this before.  Does anyone know what this means?  I unplugged my computer to go out of town, and when I came back the power LED was blinking and when I plugged the computer back in, it will not turn on.

Re: MEDIA CENTER COMP WILL NOT TURN ON

CD, since you have checked all of the connections, I believe that you may have a failed power supply unit (PSU).  The PSU is the most replaced component in a computer.  This is because it provides the power for the entire computer and heats and cools each time you boot and turn it off.

Re: MEDIA CENTER COMP WILL NOT TURN ON

ditto the post from Old Geekster, the flashing green LED on the power supply usually means the power supply has failed,  sometimes a failed motherboard will cause the green LED to flash, but failed power supply is the more likely possibility.
