What is the symbol to the left of the power button on the front odf the CPU?  It looks like three disks stacked and a light below the symbol flashes?

This is the LED that indicates your Hard Drive activity.

Meaning?  If it's flashing,  it's working? 

If it's not flashing, what then?

Hi,

It's just a visual indication of when your Hard Drive is reading or writing data - so if it's flashing rapidly it would indicate a lot of Hard Drive activity, less so when the LED is flashing slowly.

The led for Hard Drive activity is red in colour. The display doesnt show anything. What does that indicate?

My sreen is black with no light and the only thing wrong is that the 3 disk light is off. Does anyone know how to fix?
