compaq presario Product ID ed861aa-aba will not power up after power outage

After a power outage my desk top will not fire up. Checked manual for trouble shooting no help.  The green light on the back of the unit is flashing but not solid. I have checked the incoming power and it checks out at 119.63 volts. (OK)

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

Rfoster, welcome to the forum.

 

I am not certain that the power outage had anything to do with your problem.  Since the computer is over 6 years old, I believe that you have a failed power supply unit (PSU).  Here is a guide to help you troubleshoot the problem.
