Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I signed into my computer and no longer have a taskbar.  I need to know how to restore it.  I have researched but no luck finding anything to tell me how.  I did try different suggestions but no luck.  I have windows 10.

Thank you

@HE22, welcome to the forum.

I believe that your problem is caused by the computer being set to Tablet Mode.  This makes the Taskbar disappear.  You can change this setting by clicking on Cortana and typing Tablet Mode Settings.  The Settings page for it will open.  At the top is the section titled "When I sign in: (There is a dropdown menu.)  choose "Use the appropriate mode for my hardware" or "Use desktop mode".  This should make you Taskbar appear.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Thank you.  Apparently one of my small grandchildren must have hit a button or two and turned on the tablet mode.

You are very welcome, @HE22.

Aren't the grandchildren fun?  I tell people if I had known how much fun they would be, I would have had them first!!  I have 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
