The moving company seems to have lost one of our cables.  We tried to get our desktop working but nothing shows up on the monitor.  We noticed a slot for another cable on the monitor and think that's the problem.  We have an HP 110-210 and an LG 20M37D-B monitor.  We tried ordering a cable from Amazon three times and it's not the right cable.  Help.  We need our computer.

We got the cable and it is the wrong one.  It doesn't fit.  Please help.  We need to do our taxes and other pressing things.

We know nothing about computers and monitors.  So we thought we needed 2 cables.  We took the monitor to a computer repair shop and the person at the shop said you only need one.  Then he pointed to a small round port that we hadn't noticed and said we needed a power cord.  He said it wasn't a common one and he didn't have one.  So I looked up the users 'manual and was confused at first, then went to Amazon and ordered the cord for our monitor.  I got it the next day and it works.  Thank you for your help even though it wasn't a CPU problem.
