Hi, when I try to shut down my computer the screen (HP 2009 Series Wide LCD Monitor) will not close.

It displays the words 'power button lock out'....does anyone know how to fix this?  thanks

Hi,

Try the following:

Power Button Lockout is displayed.

The monitor's Power Button Lockout function is enabled.

Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to unlock the Power button function.

If the above doesn't work then try:

Unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up
