My husband has a desk top and he turned it off appropriately and unplugged it to move it, and when he plugged it back in, and tried to turn it on again,it will not turn on at all.  He said there is a little green light that shows up in the back of the computer by the power supply.  It is a Pavillion  using Vista.  Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Re: desktop

Yes, he checked all connections.  He ended up changing out the power cupply cord with one from another older computer and it is working at this point.  But thank you for your comment.

Re: desktop

MykLsMom, welcome to the forum.

When requesting help you should always include the make/model of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of them.

Did you check to assure that all of the connectors inside of the case are tight?  Moving a computer can make them disconnect.
