osd locked

I have a HP w19 e monitor .  The OSD is locked . I tried holding down the menu button it won't work.

 

Any suggestions.

Are you holding the menu button down when the monitor is off or on? Are you keeping the menu button held down when you push the power button to turn it on?

Dear sir,

 

I am using Windows XP ( Home ) edition. I am having a HP Printer  HP Deskjet F735 with serial No.{Removed for privacy} This printer is registered with you.

 

My problem is whenever I start my PC  a flsh message  blinking in the screen " OSD LOCKED " I do not want to appear this message.

 

Kindly advise me to resolve this issue.

i just fixed my hp monitor all you have to do to fix the osd lockout is to hold down the menu buttor for 10 sec and it will automaticley reset by it self but you have to hold down the menu buttor in oder to do it

Same here, no matter how long i hold down the menu button still no response 

i wanted to fix this so bad. it disables me from switching to lowering the brightness in some occasions >_<

plesae any other suggestions??  Smiley Happy

Hi,

 

Try a monitor reset. Unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up.
