I happend to have 2*LP3065 monitors for the last 5 years. Both were connected to Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS by DVI-D cables and worked at 1920*1200.
Having heard good reviews about HP NVS310 card and references at HP sites as recommended product for 30’ HP monitor LP3065 I purchased it last Friday from local HP reseller.
It was installed under the same Vista 32 instead of GeForce 7900 GS along with latest Nvidia driver (version 320.00). The connection was made by the same cables DVI-D cables as for GeForce 7900 GS using DVI-D Passive DP->DVI Adaptors supplied inside NVS310 package.
After the successful installation I got resolution 1280*800 as maximum recommended! in the Nvidia Control Panel. Attempts to make customized settings failed both for 1920*1200 and 2560*1600 (native mode for HP LP3065).
All searches in all available sources by Google, Bing and Nvidia help/support as well as help/support sources at HP failed. There was no answer found.
Having this unexpected outcome with two great running monitors (yeah DVI-D ports only!) at the table I have to ask for a valuable advice of some knowledgeable people : HOW TO GET NATIVE RESOLUTION with NVS 310 ?

now it is clear.
Considering that overall price for the native resolution come conisiderably up to $400 it looks as another graphic card with 2*DVI-D ports becomes more reasonable solution.
Can anyone kindly share his/her experience about reasonable graphic card with 2*DVI-D ports produced in 2011-2013 which can sufficently support 2*HP LP3065 Monitors in native resolution 2560*1600 without trials&errors?
