I would like to use my desktop to miracast. The 802-11n supposedly supports it. Can it be enabled?

When I go to the Project screen I should have an option to "Add a wireless display", but it is not there.

Hi:

I could never get my Broadcom dual band wlan card to screen mirror either.

There must be different hardware revisions of the card.

Even the Intel site states the Broadcom card is Intel WiDi capable, but when I tried to install the software, it said my system was not compatible.

So, I installed an Intel dual band 7260 in my HP 350 G1 notebook and have been able to project the screen ever since.

But you have three issues...the Broadcom card not being able to screen mirror, and the AMD HD 7570 Radeon graphics adapter not being capable of screen mirroring, and the Intel 3rd generation core processor is not compatible with screen mirroring in W10.

That is why there is no option to project to a screen.

You would need to install an Intel wireless card and remove the AMD graphics adapter and then you should be able to screen mirror from the Intel processor, Intel wlan card and Intel graphics, if you downgraded to an earlier Windows operating system.

I doubt you would want to remove the graphics card and go back to an earlier version of Windows.

Your PC needs to meet all of the requirements below in order to project the screen wirelessly...
