Microsoft Pay Wallet Support for HP Elite x3

Product Name: HP Elite x3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Is there a firmware update planned in the near future supporting the Windows 10 mobile Microsoft Pay Wallet feature?  NFC is enabled, but the wallet app will not allow adding credit cards at this time.  Thanks.

Pretty sure MS has to allow the device to use wallet, not the other way aroudn.  And considering how much MS cares about mobile right now; good luck.

Hello,

The Elite x3 was designed for business customers and the security on the device doesn't allow the Wallet app to be used properly.  There are no plans to change this configuration.

Here is some more information: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c05313284

Thanks,

Re: Microsoft Pay Wallet Support for HP Elite x3

That's very disappointing! That's also revenue impacting and short-sighting. When the device was designed for business, it was also designed to work with Windows 10 mobile, and presumably if that is the end-of-the-line for "WP" devices, why wouldn't it incorporate all the new features from the get-go?!

Then why is Tap To Pay a selectable function in settings? If it's going to be supported, why is it there?
